Dr. Diaz evaluates children and adolescents starting from 18 months through late adolescence. Whether your toddler is showing early developmental differences or your teenager is struggling academically, she can help.
Insurance is not currently accepted. Payment options include cash, credit card, check, money order, and Zelle. Many families submit a superbill to their insurance for partial out-of-network reimbursement.
The evaluation typically takes between 2 and 6 hours depending on your child's age and the concerns being assessed. This is usually spread across one or two sessions, followed by a separate parent feedback meeting.
Yes — both in-person (Miami office) and telehealth options are available. The format that works best depends on the type of evaluation, which you'll discuss during your free consultation call.
It's optional but helpful. Report cards, prior evaluations, teacher notes, or medical records allow Dr. Diaz to build the most complete picture. Don't stress if you don't have everything — the evaluation stands on its own.
